Rich Jameson is Senior Vice President of Investments with Gundaker Commercial Group, Inc. (GCG). He joins the company with more than 35 years of experience in finance and syndication in the multi-family and residential development industries. Rich has extensive knowledge in development and construction of both residential and commercial projects, making him an invaluable asset to GCG’s ever-growing investment and syndication business.
Rich began his career in accounting and finance within the St. Louis real estate industry. He soon diversified into development and residential construction, while learning the intricacies of the syndication market. In 1986, Rich was asked to lead the real estate subsidiary of a major financial institution where he was responsible for more than $300 million in real estate development and investment of residential and commercial projects. His expertise was needed to restructure distressed joint ventures and troubled loan portfolios, which he successfully converted to a successful recovery of asset values throughout the three-state territory. More than half of his career has focused upon investments and syndication of a variety of real estate developments ranging from multi-family to retail.
After serving in the United States Air Force, Rich received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and graduate work in Finance at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. He participated in many Metro St. Louis organizations - both professionally and philanthropically - including past membership in the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater St. Louis, the YMCA, the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Golf Committee, board member of BCI as well as past board member of St. Charles Community College Foundation.
